HTC HD2 and HTC Dream – Comparison Between Two Gadgets From Similar Family


Both the HTC HD2 and HTC Dream are beautifully designed mobile phones which are blessed with unique features and technologies.

Display feature

If we talk about HTC HD2, it comes with a large touch screen offering a high quality viewing experience to the users. The capacitive touch sensitive of this mobile phone measures 4.3 Inches. A screen resolution of 480 pixels by 800 pixels is supported by this attractive screen. Moreover, it is blessed with a high color display. The additional features supported by this screen are an automatic rotate function, HTC Sense feature etc. The users can view this large screen in either horizontal or vertical mode because of the presence of an automatic rotate function. It also supports a handwriting recognition feature. The HTC Sense is an intuitive user interface. The weight of the HTC HD2 is 157 grams and it measures 1.1cm deep by 6.7cm wide by 12.05cm tall. On the other hand, the HTC Dream supports a weight of 158 grams and is wrapped in the dimensions of 117.7 x 55.7 x 17.1 mm.

Connectivity features

Connectivity features offered by both these gadgets are amazing. If we talk about the HTC HD2, it incorporates connectivity features like Bluetooth connection, USB cabled connection. It further supports EDGE and GPRS technology which facilitates in fast data transfer between two compatible devices. The handset supports both GSM and 3G networks including GSM 850, GSM 900, GSM 1800, GSM 1900 and WCDMA 900 and WCDMA 2100 networks. The users can enjoy fast connectivity because of the presence of 3G HSDPA and HSUPA technology. It supports Wi-Fi also. The camera found in HD2 is 5 Megapixel and enterprises of features like LED Flash, autofocus, Geo tagging etc. While the camera found in Dream model is 3.2 Megapixel and supports an auto focus feature. Both cameras support video recording feature.
